i've thought about it for a while.  i realize now it would really be great to be a kid again.  not really BE a kid again--i really enjoy being able to buy what i want and go where i want when i want---but just be able to act like a kid. 

let me give you a case in point.  today my 3-year-old, Kailey, had a toy catipillar that is on wheels that you can drag behind you.  i had stepped upstairs for 2 seconds when i heard my son Caleb crying.  so I called Kailey and she took off running.  When I finally got her back to the scene of a crime i asked her what happened.  "My catipillar wanted to swing"  she replied.  Now she doesn't realize it but i know this catipillar better than she does and i KNOW he doesn't like to be swung by the rope around his neck, but I didn't bring it up to her.  Instead i asked her if she had hit Caleb with the toy.  Her reply was irrefutable.   "Pap, Pap, Pap."   (She's in to making up words now)

So if it were ok to act like a kid as an adult I could get away with, say, Bank Robbery.  "Honest officer, the money SAID it wanted to go home with me."  "You do realize this is a Felony and you could spend the rest of you life in Jail.  We'll offer a plea bargain if you only confess now "   "PAP, PAP, PAP"  "We'll take that as a confession"

I also wish I could roll around on the floor when i'm not happy with something.  Then everyone would know not to mess with me and quit asking if i'm upset!!!!

So, this is it huh?  What our lives have come down to.  Thoughts and words placed on a cyber-canvas.   this is me, what I think and do.  What a pitiful, brilliant almost non-existent artform. 

So, you may be wondering, who, or what, is thelud....  Just an average bloke with an above average life, living with a truly superb family serving a truly unremarkable God.  (why is it that when we become speechless about something it's remarkable?  just thought I'd change that trend.  at times i'm utterly speechless) 

Been living in woodstock Georgia almost 4.5 years now. have been married for 4.5 or those 4.5 years.  have a 3 year old little girl and a 1 yr old boy.  I work with the 4th largest bank in the country. . .   I'll let you guess which one. 

I help lead worship in a church just started here in the are.  Only by God's grace I came upon them.  It has literally changed my life.
